Fortune Türkiye: Kamil Kılıç’s three headings for preparing for tomorrow’s economy
In the feature “Preparing today for tomorrow’s macro realities”, published in the 1 October 2026 issue of Fortune Türkiye, senior business executives were asked within the Fortune C-Suite Premier Club how they are preparing for the economy of tomorrow. Kamil Kılıç, General Manager of Letven Capital, summarised his agenda for the period ahead under three headings.
Kılıç’s approach begins with a single sentence: “My basic approach to preparing for tomorrow’s economy is to specialise, to magnify the multiplier effect of technology, and to scale with long-term capital.”
First: scaling intelligence
“With artificial intelligence and robotics we will turn sector expertise into replicable products and services. We will focus on solutions that raise productivity in industry and resource efficiency in energy and agriculture. Through business models that offer technology as a service, we will make these solutions easier for customers to access. Our aim is to generate, out of Türkiye’s engineering and manufacturing know-how, technology and intellectual property that create value in global markets.”
Second: reducing innovation risk at an early stage
“In the ‘De-Risking Innovation’ approach we apply through V-Labs and TARS LABS, we start from a real sector problem and a customer who will pay. We test demand with paid pilots and increase capital as evidence of repeat sales and healthy unit economics strengthens. Cash flow, capital efficiency and corporate governance will sit at the centre of our growth decisions.”
Third: building the growth chain that reaches institutional capital
“We will strengthen the transitions from venture capital to growth capital and, in suitable companies, to credit and project finance. We aim to develop long-term partnerships with institutional investors, pension and insurance funds first among them. By combining the technology and manufacturing capabilities of Türkiye and Europe with international customer networks, we will increase the market and revenue diversity of our portfolio. We will grow Letven Capital as a platform that builds companies institutional capital can invest in.”
